I’m Jacob. If you’re here because you’ve noticed electric scooter advice on the internet ranges from “vague vibes” to “utter fantasy”, welcome — you’re in the right place.

I built EscootersHub because I actually ride these things. On real roads. With real potholes. In real weather. Specs are fine, but they’re not the same thing as living with a scooter day after day.

Some scooters feel like freedom — quick, quiet torque, properly sorted brakes, and a ride that makes you take the long way home. Others feel like a folding lawn chair with trust issues. This site exists to separate the two.

How we look at scooters

• Real-world range (not “marketing range”)
• Ride feel (stability, comfort, confidence)
• Braking (because physics does not negotiate)
• Build quality (the stuff that matters after week three)
• Value (not cheap — value)
